B8M Class 2 All Thread Rod

ASTM A193/A320 Grade B8M all thread rod is dual certified. The A193 specification covers fasteners that are intended for high temperature and high pressure applications, while A320 covers low temperature applications. Both grades are made from AISI 316 stainless steel and tested to meet requirements per ASTM A193/A320. Dimensional specifications are governed by ASME B18.31.3. A193/A320 B8M all thread rod having diameters above 1" are most common 8UN (8 threads per inch). Non-magnetic, 316 stainless has good corrosion resistance. For use in pressure vessels, valves, flanges, and fittings for high temperature or high pressure service, or other special purpose applications.
