Internal Tooth Lock Washer, Plated

Low carbon internal tooth lock washers are used under bolt heads or nuts to increase the hold of the fastener. Internal tooth lock washers have teeth on the inner dimension of the washer creating a ratchet action by biting into the nut or screw head and the surface it contacts. Dimensional specifications are governed by ASME B18.21.1. Available in zinc plated finish. Zinc plating sacrifices itself, corroding before the base material, offering added corrosion resistance.
